I support people with anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed — experiences that aren't always easy to make sense of alone. Abigail Warren
Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist
I bring warmth, attentiveness and respect to the therapeutic relationship. I work by helping you to explore what's going on for you, perhaps identifying deeper patterns and causes. I bring an acceptance of who you are right now alongside a belief in the potential for change.
Often I find I am working with clients facing some kind of 'life crisis' or period of major transition. Whether due to an external situation such as separation or bereavement, or an internal experience such as feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or depressed, talking to a counsellor can help. Counselling can lead to new ways of being and expressing oneself, discerning what we value, and finding a way forward towards a more meaningful and authentic life.
Specialisms: Grief and bereavement, Life transitions, Self-esteem and identity, Anxiety and stress, Depression and low mood.
Qualification / professional body: Diploma & MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. MBACP & UKCP
Availability: Monday mornings in person, online at other times
Karen Hanson
Counsellor
When life is difficult it can be hard to navigate it alone. We can feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost or unsure of how to move forward. In therapy, I offer a supportive place where you can explore what is happening and begin to understand it more clearly. My approach often entails looking at both your current challenges and the earlier experiences that may be shaping them. This can support gaining insight, managing emotions and developing a kinder relationship with yourself and so support you moving forward in your relationship with yourself, others and life situations that you find yourself in.

Qualification / professional body: Diploma in Counselling / MBACP (Accred)
